In my ideal world, I would have portable phone, music player, GPS, with unlimited storage (stored securely and redundantly online somewhere) that would hold all of data and programs.
I would be able to approach any computer/terminal and that computer would auto-magically (blue tooth or wirelessly) access my data and programs for me so I could be running my desktop anywhere from the little device in my pocket.
Come on engineers, get to it.

Heck, I’d just be happy getting any sort of consistent sell coverage out here in the sticks. I’d love even a current iPhone or equivalent but we can’t even get voice much of the time.
But, yes, I support your pony.
Sell? I swear that any time I comment on a blog Josh runs my hands cease to obey my
odorsorders.I agree with maxwelton. Although cheap internet access anytime, anywhere, would also be a nice addition. Relying on the cell phone networks for internet has the same problem of losing a signal on the cell phone.
Put away your toys. Go out into the wide spaces. Sleep under the stars. Walk through the forest.
All things man made are meaningless compared to the skies and the oceans and nature.
You are locked in your box.
Break free … whilst you have a chance.

Computers = bad. Check.
